Eat more: I would recommend that you eat more protein prior to exercising. Make sure you are eating protein at every meal and snack, and eat within an hour of working out. I also would recommend that you eat within 30-60 minutes after you exercise. It sounds like you are using all of your calories pretty quickly and not eating enough before.
