Stretching: Muscle spasms can be due to alot of reasons. Typically stretching the muscles and icing them can help release the tension. Also trying a course of anti-inflammatories might also be helpful. If you are not improving with this within a few days, you may need further evaluation by a doctor to determine other causes of pain.
