A member asked:

Could anxiety or bad relationships trigger depression?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

YesX2: Yes, anxiety over time, can b exhausting, depressing. When our needs are not met in relationships, we often feel alone, hopeless, depressed. I find that when people land themselves in a bad relationship, they are likely to have had this happen before. Then the combo of the current bad relationship and previous experiences is overwhelming. Therapy can help.
