Variety is important: Best to come oup with a variable routine that consistently surprises the muscle groups in question. specifically, work on lat (latissmus) pull downs with different grips (palm forward/backward, tight and wide grip), bench and military press, pushups and dips, curls and flies (all variations), and rows.
