How come people always find out they have cancer at the last minute?

Not always true: Some cancers have methods for early detection, like mammos for breast and colonoscopies for colon /rectum. Early cancers have a good chance of being cured. Sadly, some cancers don't have ways for early detection. Best you can do is live healthy, get age and risk appropriate screening, and live your life without fear.
