Rest and Ibuprofen: When an ovarian cyst ruptures, the cyst fluid irritates your insides causing pain. Usually this pain lasts only a few days and then goes away on its own. It is usually treated with something like Ibuprofen to help with the pain as your body reabsorbs the fluid. If you have pain that lasts for months, its unlikely to be from a ruptured ovarian cyst. See your doctor.
