Pain control/US: Get an ultrasound to make sure there is no ovarian torsion. Finding a balance between pain and daily life is sometimes difficult. Expecting to be pain free is not possible because there is a ruptured cyst. Try acetaminophen and/or NSAID such as advil or aleve (naproxen). Make sure blood counts are okay. Speak with your gynecologist to see if surgery is the appropriate treatment.
