Depends on the: fracture. IF it needs surgery it will take anywhere from 8-12 weeks. If it is a simple non-dispalced fibula fracture at the distal ankle you may be back as early as 6-8 weeks. fractures in general take 8 weeks to heal. I would first seek the advice of an orthopedic surgeon who can evaluate your leg, obtain an X-ray and go ver your options with you.

Cast and rest: I assume that you must have seen a doctor and got an XR that showed a broken fibula. You should then have received a cast on the leg. It should take about 4 weeks to heel, so you should be on crutches during that time and take it easy. If there is no complications, you should be good as new after that.
