My husband found a mass in his neck and they think it has to do with cancer they wanna do a biopsy but i heard if they poke it, it will spread is this true?

Not from a needle: From your question, it sounds like your husband will get a needle biopsy. This is the preferred method for getting a biopsy of a neck mass (as opposed to an excisional biopsy). Having a needle biopsy does not cause the cancer to spread.
