A member asked:

Help docs? why is it conventional belief that any deviation on a low-carb results in all weight regained?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Bogus: Well, that's simply not true. It is true that weight regain is a problem when one stops any form of diet but there's nothing special about stopping a low carb diet and if one stays on the low carb diet with occasional deviations, the weight loss can be maintained.
