Alveolar ridge: Gi problems as food is not chewed properly. Loss of vertical dimension (face shrinks), loss of proprioception. Solution is to have a set of dentures with or without implants. Implants will keep the bone healthy. Without implants the bone will continue to atrophy causing the denture to become loose.
