NoVocal cord inflamm: There really are no medications that have been noted to help alleviate or facilitate swelling of vocal cords. The best thing you can do for your cords is vocal cord rest. That's really the only thing, follow up with ENT if needed in the future. Evidence if debatable on the use of oral steroids or anti-inflammatory medications like Ibuprofen, none have been shown to be beneficial.
