Can anxiety cause faster heart rate? i feel like my adrenaline is up (fight or flight). my pulse feels a little fast too... kind of nervous?

Yes: Anxiety states can accelerate the heart rate(which you feel when taking your pulse). However if the heart rate exceeds 100 per minute then i would get checked for other causes of rapid heart rates such as overactive thyroid, fever, anemia, caffeine excess, etc.
