After wisdom teeth removal a week ago, i began bleeding and spat out a large-ish blood clot. i am soaking through gaze. should i be worried?

Depends : Minor oozing of blood for a few hours after wisdom tooth removal is expected. If the coagulum builds up outside of the socket it is not uncommon to experience this. There is concern for the development of a dry socket if the clot is removed from your extraction site. You will likely have a significant increase in pain a couple days after and should see your dr for follow up. The sooner the better.

Post op bleeding: Bleeding should be substantially controlled within the first hour or two, and certainly by the next day. It's common to have some slight temporary bleeding when the wound site is irritated from tongue, food, brushing or flossing during the first week. Anything more than that should be discussed with the dentist who removed the tooth.
