Not serious: The majority of women do menstruate spontaneously and regularly immediately after stopping bc. However, some women take 6 months after stopping the pill, and up to a year after stopping Depo-Provera provera (medroxyprogesterone). The biggest problem is trouble getting pregnant, but other problems could include: unexpected irregular bleeding, or hormonal symptoms, like acne and weight changes.

Called my dr and she said to continue the pills. I thought the bleeding was stopping but it came back. Should I still take the pills or stop to have a regular period and start a new pack, so I can get back on a regular schedule.
