So i had recently stopped taking depo and i never went back to get it again and the next month after stopping i got a normal period, am i ovulating ?

Likely: Your references to time are vague & the answer is time sensitive. Depo suppresses egg release as long as your body recognizes the the extra hormone in in your system. If you skip a scheduled dose& that suppression is lost, you should assume your body resets to its normal function. Missing a by a few days might not, but a delay eventually would.
