You should ask your doctor.: Because your digestive tract has been surgically altered, your absorption pattern will be different then it would have been if your digestive tract were intact. The only person who would have the details of what kind of surgery you had and what medications you're taking is your personal physician. You should ask him or her that specific question.

Colonoscopy showed a 2cm bulging in cecum. Biopsy was good. CT scan was unremarkable. It was noted that the loop of the sigmoid colon is located in the right quadrant, immediately beneath the cecum. GI wants a follow up, but won't explain why. Help?
