Not so: Anything that increases heart rate increases metabolic rate, including physical activity (best), exercise. Pilks, potions, drugs including caffeine-like drugs, green tea, coffee, yerba mate, amphetamines, Cocaine all increase metabolic rate and can affect weight loss. I recommend activity.
