See below. : At 25 if your wisdom teeth are not out yet than they may never come out. This does not mean that you don't have to take them out. I recomend you go and see a dentist as soon as you can.

Wisdom teeth: The first step is to consult with a dentist. What you feel may or may not be the result of an erupting wisdom tooth. Secondly, your dentist can determine if the tooth is straight, if there is enough room for it to come in and finally if the tooth should be removed anyway to prevent future problems. Whether or not you have pain, you still have to have this evaluated.

Exam: You require an exam and x-rays to determine how the wisdom tooth is erupting, if it is a wisdom tooth at all. Some people do not even have wisdom teeth, so the swelling could be from another source. Need to have an evaluation.
