A member asked:

Menstrual cycle of 37 days for 4 months. is it a sign of normal regular periods? or abnormal since its more than 35 days?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Prolonged menses: You should see your gynecologist, this is too long for menstrual cycle. There are other consequences form it, like anemia from prolonged blood loss. Be sure to eat foods high in iron. Your gynecologist can help by putting you on hormones, if all other work up is negative.
