Periods vary.: Not all women have the typical 28 day cycle. Some are 21 days or shorter; others, like you, have quite extended cycles. So long as you are otherwise healthy, and your periods are not excessively heavy or painful, the length of time between them should not worry you. If you're trying to conceive (or avoid conception), simple urine tests (LH strips) can help determine your fertile period.
