A member asked:

Menstrual cycle avg. is 30 days.if i'm 7 days late (doc says that's normal), does that qualify as an irregular period since it's greater than 35 days?

Trends: a single late period is not enough to qualify you for a diagnosis of irregular periods. Keep a calendar of your bleeding in order to find out for sure whether or not you truly do menstruate every 30 days or if you experience more fluctuation. I would not be too concerned unless you are missing more than three periods per year.
