Not so bad.: There are approximately 29 mg sodium per cup of coconut water (milk). Therefore, if one is on a low sodium (2 grams/day) diet, one can judge whether or not to drink the coconut milk. It's a really good question , and reading the labels for sodium content is the solution. Check your blood pressure sitting and standing to ensure it's less than 130-135 systolic. Salt raises bp.
