A member asked:

Can coconut water help with constipation?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not the best: Coconut water contains sugar, and like other juices the sugar can act as an "osmotic laxative", drawing fluid into stools. The fluid itself is useful, too. However, high fiber foods, plain water, and possibly stool softeners are likely to be more effective.
