Not recommended: Taking an excessive dose of Restoril (temazepam) is harmful. Consult your md for advice for your sleeping problem.

Not OK !!!!: Temazepam ( Brand name: Restoril) is also a long acting benzodiazepine hypnotic that is FDA approved for insomnia. Please don't do this. The normal dose of Restoril is 15 to 30 mg at night. Elderly may only need 7.5 mg. Please only take this medication as directed by your doctor.
