Don't know: Spigelian hernias can be hard to diagnose and can be very small. They occur in the front abdomen between the rectus and internal and external oblique muscles. They more often in the obese and in those over age 50. There may be a small palpable bulge. This may not beseem on us even when present. The hernias size may vary with straining. The diarrhea is hard to relate to a hernia.
