Sitting is bad: Our bodies are meant to move. Prolonged sitting is bad for your back and hips. It also turns down your metabolism and circulation. For anyone that works at a desk - first see about getting a stand up desk or if you do sit make sure you get up and move around every 20 minutes or so.
