I quit taking protonix (pantoprazole) two weeks ago the burning in my throat is back, dr. suggested apple cider vinegar to help but i makes it worse. any suggestions?

Slow transition: Sometimes it's better to taper off the Protonix (pantoprazole) gradually to prevent a rebound reflux problem. Another option is to take otc antacids like zantac or Pepcid symptomatically for a while. If all else fails, then you may need to stay on protonix (pantoprazole).
