What does it mean when your "hormones are out of whack"? what are some symptoms?

Nothing: It's a lay term, not a medical one. There are literally thousands of hormones and "out of whack" in no way describes what the problem is. Hormonal medicine is very intricate and complex, and it can't be simplified into a single statement such as "our of whack". Discuss w/your physician.
