See ORS : See an orthopedic surgeon if pain is not improved in 10-14 days. 'twisting ' injuries can sprain the medial coll. Ligament but isolated injuries w/ your mechanism are more likely to tear cartilage( meniscus).Sprains of mcl occur most commonly w/ a force on the outside of your knee.(if your foot was planted and your knee bucked inward from a force).If your knee twisted ...Meniscus more likely.
