A member asked:

Small single white bump in the "wet" part of eyelid, close to my eye. it doesn't hurt, itch or irritate. about 1 millimeter small. can this be herpes?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Probably not herpes: If this dot is next to the colored part of the eye on the nasal or temporal side, it is probably a normal structure called the pingueculum. It might have a slightly yellowish tint. This is your eyes protection against wind, dust and uv light.
