is constant uti's connected with endometrousis?

1 doctor answer
Dr. George Klauber
Specializes in Pediatric Urology
Extremely rare: Endometriosis can affect uterus, fallopian tubes, ovaries, peritoneum of pelvis including rectum ; outer surface of bladder. Very, very rarely affects bladder lining which could result in utis. However endometriosis on outside of bladder, or affecting bladder muscle can result in overactive bladder symptoms of urinary frequency ; urgency. Best to discuss with your gynecologist.
