Various things: You could have staining from silver fillings, areas of pigmentation depending on your race, a benign or malignant tumor. If it's not changing most likely it's not a tumor but you need to see a qualified dentist or oral ; maxillofacial surgeon to diagnose it fully.

Don't assume : A blood test will not tell you if a white patch is fine or not. Could be many bad things as well as benign but blood test don't tell you which. Better to have oral surgeon look at it.
