A member asked:

I went to the dr for vasculitis, he ran a bunch of blood tests and found nothing, should he have run more tests, or is there really no cause?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Need more history: There are a couple of dozen different causes of vasculitis, and the lab testing is prone to pitfalls. If there's serious suspicion and an identifiable lesion, it's probably time for a biopsy.
