I had my period 12-31-2013 and got a positive hcg on 1-31-14. today i noticed some clear sticky discharge with brown. normal or reason for concern?

Common: Brown spotting around the time of a positive pregnancy test is really common. I worry when it's bright red and accompanied by cramping. There is a risk of miscarriage with every conception, and there really isn't anything to do at this point but to wait. Be reassured that the odds are in your favor that all will go well.
