Not if treated: I assume that as a result of the TSH of 4.4, you were started on thyroid hormone. If not, you should have had a repeat TSH level that was in the normal range (4.4 is at the upper end of the normal range). If a repeat TSH is normal (usually we want the TSH around 2 or below on treatment), you should not worry.
