What are the dangers of taking lansoprazole long term i've been taking for 3+ years and really want to stop taking tablets, i have reactive gastritis?

Gastritis: Like most ppi one of the problems of taking them for a long time is the interference in the absorption of magnesium and the development of atrophic gastritis or thinning of the lining with lack of cells. Talk to your doctor as you may be able to take alternative medicine or stop it.
