High range: If your kid is big for age this is at the higher end of the recommended amount and usually reserved for kids over 6. Most at this age get by on half this amount, if needed. Monitoring the kid for drowsiness and sedation are important. I prescribe this med occasionally but only a few times per year. Most kids can benefit from available otc meds.
