Punctal plugs: Dry eyes are not due to contact lenses, but are made worse with contact lenses. You may want to stop wearing contacts, ; wear your glasses. The other choice is to get some punctual plugs put in outgoing ducts of tears into nose. It is a simple procedure ; covered by insurance. The best part is when using tear or any drops the drops stay longer and do not go into the throat right away.

One easy solution: for dry eyes, with other health benefits too, is omega-3 in fish oil, if you don't trust dietary supplements there's prescription Lovaza or Vascepa

Lubricate frequently: Dry eyes and contact lenses can be a difficult combination. The are certain contact lens materials for dry eye patients. Check with your eye doctor. Use frequent artificial tears while wearing the lenses. Consider punctal plugs which are placed by your Ophthalmologist, or prescription Restasis which helps in increasing tear production.
