Have an exam: An injury in this area should be examined by an ophthalmologist to rule out any serious insult to the eyeball and eyelids. The cheekbone is fairly thick and would take a big blow to fracture it but an exam would be important just in case. Any change in vision, double vision, eyelid swelling, numbness would also be concerning symptoms.
