Please tell me, could a dangerous blood clot form from broken hand?

Extremely rare: Blood clots of concern are venous with risk of migrating to the lungs causing a pulmonary embolus. These typically arise from the lower extremities. Thrombosis of arteries supplying the hand can cause ischemic tissue necrosis but rarely ever occur with a hand fracture.
