A member asked:

I feel like i'm pulling myself out of a coma or underwater when i nap, should i be concerned?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Non-refreshing nap: Short naps of 20 minutes have been associated with increased alertness and productivity during the day. People who are chronically sleep deprived from irregular sleep cycles or ineffective sleep (sleep apnea), or those with sleep disorders such as narcolepsy, won't have the same napping benefits. You may be waking during the wrong sleep phase, causing this disorientation.
