Ct scan on my kidneys and bladder, how is this done?

Short exam: Ct is a relatively short exam taking less than 10 minutes. You will be placed in a donut like ring but it is not the small space like with an MRI so you should not feel claustrophobic. You will most likely be given IV contrast to better see the kidneys and urinary tract. Depending on the specific protocol, up to 2-3 separate scans are taken at different time points. Good luck!
