Had ct wo contrast of kidneys to look for stones,also had urine checked and fine. forgot to ask if bladder showed up in ct scan, would it have?ct nrml

Yes, but as a "void": (No pun intended). The bladder, if filled with water, would have shown up on the noncontrast CT scan. The water appears "black", & so not much detail would have been seen there unless a large "white" stone was also present. As with any test, a "normal" scan could be a false negative (missing a small stone or other problem), but in general, a negative scan is reassuring. Best of luck for your healt
