Yes: Any drug abuse can cause damage that may not show up for many years. Amphetamine abuse causes many serious problems at the time, but also down the road, including such things as heart disease and hypertension. But it is not 100% true, and depends on how long, how much, other habits, family history and so on. Best to get a relationship with a good primary care doc and get specific answers!good luck.
