All: There are hypertension medications indicated as first line for certain conditions but all are used to control BP if needed. Bblockers are used to control BP and slow the heart and fill up coronaries in people with coronary artery disease and ace-i and arb are indicated to protect from proteinuria in dm, and nitro are used for anginal pain as are some ccb. All are used to bring BP down as needed.
