A member asked:

At the skullbase: there is presence of signal void in carotid and basilar arteries at the level of skull base. what does this mean?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Magnetic Resonance: You had an MRI and the machine could not get an accurate picture of the carotid and vertebral arteries where they enter the skull from your neck. It's all just technical language that means the radiologist could not see that particular portion of the blood vessels.
