Bad idea: You need to see the doctor who prescribed you those medications to review your treatment under medical supervision. These medications have to be slowly tapered never abruptly stopped. Take a second opinion by consulting with another doctor, if you prefer but please do not go cold turkey, best wishes for your health!

See below.: You should be under the care of your treating provider when you stop these meds, so he or she can monitor your response. You shouldn't have severe withdrawal from stopping them cold turkey, but you may need benztropine for a longer time, especially, if you have had EPS such as dystonia or other side effects from risperdal.
