Separate them: If you are considering breast implants, anorexia is a stress on the body's ability to heal. Malnutrition can delay wound healing and increase your risk of complications. Best to separate your hazards. If you have breast implants, anorexia is not likely to cause you to lose your implants, but treating the anorexia should still be the primary goal.

Wound healing: Have you had augmentation or are considering it in the future? As mentioned by dr. Miele, anorexia could cause problems with wound healing if this condition exists prior to surgery or at the time of surgery. However if the relapse occurs after augmentation has been accomplished it is unlikely to have an effect other than making it more obvious that the procedure was performed. Cbt is recommended.
