Hip pain...: A few common things can cause hip pain after sitting: arthritis in the joint, tightness of the muscles around the hip, inflammation of the bursa (a thin fluid filled sac that often sits near joints). If it's been going on for a while (weeks to months), i'd check in with your doctor - usually you can do some ibuprofen, stretching, and physical therapy to improve your symptoms. Good luck!

Varies: There are a number of possibilities including problems with the hip itself, or what is known as the si joint, or a pinched nerve in the back to name a few. Don't hesitate to be seen for it.
